About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) delivers direct patient care in the clinical setting beginning with escorting the patient to the examination room, performing any treatments and procedures required by the physician, and ending with the discharging of the patient. He/she recognizes, reports, and documents clinical observations. He/she is responsible for coding the procedures correctly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) Preferred.
