Clipper Tie Operator 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm) $20.81/hr.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for running a clip gun, loading magazines, and clipping coil loops together in a line along with wire tie operation and packaging.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1+ years of related experience preferred
- Lean concept sustainment & problem-solving skills.
- Safety action orientated.
- Flexibility of shift schedule including overtime and weekends.
- Must have an outgoing positive attitude, be a team player and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally team lift more than 50 pounds. Be able to push and pull extremely heavy loads using leverage tools.
Responsibilities
- Adherence to Atkore Safety / Life Saving Rules is paramount.
- Demonstrate Core Values.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Clips coil loops together using an air-operated clip gun.
- Change magazines or feeds strips of clips into clip guns.
- Moving baskets or coils into position.
- Removes tie wires (WIP-type products).
- Aligning barbs or loops into the proper position prior to clipping.
- Removing extra clips.
- Daily cleaning of the work area.
