UPMC Williamsport is hiring a Full-Time Clinician on 5E Acute Care/Trauma Stepdown UPMC Williamsport is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in their nursing career. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, primarily on evening and night shifts, with every third weekend and no holiday requirements. About UPMC Williamsport 5E Acute Care/Trauma Stepdown: Our 23-bed medical-surgical and trauma stepdown unit cares for a wide variety of patients, specializing in acute care surgery and trauma. Medical-surgical patients include those with bowel obstructions, gallbladder issues, and appendectomies. Our team includes expert nurses trained in trauma care and a unique mobility program to help patients recover faster. The unit uses a care partner model, pairing a licensed staff member directly with a nurse for most of the shift. As a Clinician, you will serve as a nurse leader and role model, responsible for fostering a culture of excellence and high-quality patient care. You will manage staff performance, including evaluations, hiring, and daily oversight, while providing clinical education, orientation, and consultation to team members.
