Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood is currently looking for passionate and energetic Clinicians (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants) to join our team in our Albany and Troy Health Center locations. In this role, you will provide services in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the context of a comprehensive reproductive health visit in accordance with Planned Parenthood standards and guidelines You will also provide relevant health instruction, which includes but is not limited to: Family planning Nutrition Sexual counseling; including HIV testing and counseling, and principles of health promotion and maintenance. All aspects of patient care must be presented factually and un-biased, including birth control options and abortion. Requirements
- Current NYS licensed, Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- UHPP requires employees to be vaccinated against the flu. Exemptions will be made for medical reasons with documentation held in our HR office.
Nice To Haves
- A specialty and/or experience in the OB/GYN field preferred
- EPIC practice management experience a plus!
- Experience serving diverse clients
- Bilingual skills also a plus!
