About The Position

The Clinic-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) as the primary clinician to assigned clients as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of comprehensive mental health services.

Requirements

• Licensed or license-eligible professional (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT)
• NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred.
• Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescent and families
• Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based Interventions
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to meet session productivity standards
• Ability to access and utilize ADP app on smartphone or other device for access to agency programs

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records
• Provides a minimum of 20 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits
• Promotes integrated, person-centered care
• Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications
• Serves as on call clinician as scheduled during rotating basis
• Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice
• Supports overall strategic plan of the organization
