About The Position

Help individuals in recovery in your role as an outpatient Mental Health Court Clinician. Chestnut offers a team atmosphere and advancement opportunities. The successful candidate may be eligible for one of several student loan repayment programs! This part-time position is based in Granite City, IL. This position can work one 10hr day or two 5 hour days between Monday-Friday. The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.00 - $22.00 an hour. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus CADC certification
  • OR bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ supervised mental health experience and obtain CADC certification within two years of hire.
  • Willingness to be trained in Community Reinforcement Approach Family Training (CRAFT) and CRA.
  • Must be CRA certified within 3 months following training.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and must be insurable.

  • Prefer experience working with families and/or specialty courts.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with specialty court personnel to coordinate referrals, develop treatment recommendations, and provide ongoing progress updates.
  • Attend court proceedings with clients and families, preparing and presenting comprehensive court reports and testimony as required.
  • Serve as a liaison between the court and organizational staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination of services across programs.
  • Provide timely immediate access services to support urgent client needs and continuity of care.
  • Function as a peer leader by offering clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to less experienced team members.
  • Actively promote and model the recovery-oriented treatment framework, emphasizing trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health and wellness, and spiritual and community connectedness.
