Clinician - School-Based Outpatient ($3,000 Sign on Bonus)
About The Position
Seeking clinicians (LMHP or LMHP-E) to provide Outpatient Services to children and adolescents in the local public schools as a part of our School Based Mental Health Program. This a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. Services may include, but are not limited to: clinical assessments, individual and family therapy, and service coordination. The School Based Outpatient Team provides evidence-based treatment approaches to address trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. New River Valley Community Services provides weekly individual supervision and opportunities for ongoing group supervision. We are looking for individuals who possess an in-depth knowledge of the varied needs of youth and who are excited to work with a multidisciplinary team and communicate and collaborate effectively with school personnel and other mental health providers.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other license-eligible Human Services field is required.
- Required to register and become license-eligible with Virginia Board of Counseling within 3 months of hire.
