What You’ll Do As our Clinician, you will: Provide operational and clinical leadership in the Resource Pool. Support a fast‑moving emergency medicine environment where no two days are the same. Work a balanced leadership schedule consisting of three 12‑hour shifts per week, primarily daylight hours with some night requirements. Will also have on-call requirements every 3rd weekend and on holidays. Partner with engaged team members and clinical leadership to enhance workflow, staff development, and patient outcomes. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a confident, solutions‑focused nurse leader with: Prior experience in Emergency Medicine, Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown—bringing a well‑rounded clinical background that strengthens decision‑making. Comfortable in floating to other units throughout the hospital. A passion for building strong teams, improving processes, and guiding staff through growth and change. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving clinical setting. The Clinician is a nurse leader who has direct responsibility in the achievement of a culture of excellence and patient care. They're a highly developed role model of professional nursing practice. Under the general direction of the Unit Director or other department manager, the Clinician will complete and deliver employee evaluations, conduct selection and hiring of staff, and manage the daily performance for a group of direct reports. They're responsible for providing service-based education and clinical expertise for staff including orientation and training, consultation on practice issues, and general coordination of clinical activities. Additionally, the Clinician may have shift accountability for delivering nursing care when needed.
