About The Position

At Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC), our staff is dedicated to addressing the impact of childhood traumatic events and other challenges. The Clinical Supervisor will complete intake assessments and provide individual and family psychotherapy to children ages 2-14 presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues in a trauma-informed manner. Summary of Essential Functions: Engaging children and families in therapeutic process by providing 1 therapy session a week. These sessions can be individual, family therapy, or collateral sessions with parents/caregivers for each child assigned to caseload Completing 100% of the Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) for each child assigned at and demonstrating at least a 30% improvement in at least 2 of the needs that were pinpointed at the pre CANS Conducting and writing-up intake assessments and follow through with appropriate recommendation and/or referrals. Participating in individual and group supervision as agreed upon with supervisor Attending in-service and training meetings as assigned and in accordance with state and CBH regulations, external trainings and CCTC’s mandatory trainings as required for continued licensure, if applicable Consistently maintaining productivity expectations Providing emergency clinical services as needed Maintaining timely, accurate chart records and ensuring necessary documents and signatures are completed and maintained for each intake and ongoing case assignments Developing and completing discharge plan with parents/caretakers for each discharged case Providing case management as needed

Requirements

  • Masters of Social Work or Psychology or related degree.
  • Minimum of one-year experience providing psychotherapy to children and their families, internship experience is accepted.
  • Licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience and interest in working with an interdisciplinary team setting.
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse cultures including those CCTC serves, staff, other provider agencies, payers and regulatory agencies.
  • This individual will have strong organizational and leadership skills that serve to support CCTC’s mission and vision.
