The Clinician provides direct care and management of a patient population through individual, family, and group counseling, as well as the development of individualized treatment plans. This role involves performing case management activities for all individuals in their caseload and completing comprehensive assessments to summarize treatment needs. The Clinician maintains an active leadership role on the multi-disciplinary treatment team, providing relevant clinical information and updates to ensure the highest level of care. Responsibilities also include accurately recording patient progress, participating in treatment team meetings, and acting as a liaison between clients and external organizations. The Clinician advocates for clients whose needs are unmet and assists them in accessing community services. Additionally, the role may involve supervising student interns and assisting with patient transportation and daily program operations. Annual certification in the Handle With Care behavior management system is required, along with participation in weekly clinical supervision with the Assistant Director of Clinical Services. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional and ethical standards is essential.
