About The Position

The Clinician I position at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Inc. in Yuba City is a full-time role focused on providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited FNP or Primary Care PA program for comprehensive primary care centers; graduation from an accredited Women's Health NP or CNM program is acceptable for limited primary care centers.
• Current State license and current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills appropriate to PPMM clinical duties.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Current experience using computer and mouse, and experience with Microsoft Windows based programs.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Nurse Practitioner certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides contraceptive methods including self-administered contraceptives and contraceptive injections.
• Performs medical assessment and management of basic STI and genito-urinary conditions for all patients.
• Provides wart treatment and gender affirming care.
• Conducts premenopausal and menopausal services.
• Reviews and interprets medical and social history for all sexual and reproductive health patients.
• Performs appropriate medical screening procedures/exams for all patients.
• Interprets laboratory data and orders additional investigations when indicated.
• Acts as a clinical resource to health center staff to ensure high quality clinical care.
• Manages emergency situations in the health center.
• Participates in staff meetings and contributes to achieving health center productivity and quality standards.
• Demonstrates customer service standards and assists in other areas of center support work as required.
• Precepts students/residents and supervises volunteers/interns as applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
