About The Position

Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at-risk youth. The Clinician is a key member of our behavior services team. They are responsible for meeting clinical benchmarks for quality care and productivity requirements, ensuring proper care is provided in accordance with program contracts, and developing and providing direct behavioral health services to consumers. The Clinician will carry out these objectives by providing a wide variety of individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy services in line with the consumers' specific therapeutic needs. Clinicians may provide services in a clinic setting, residential site, schools, and/or consumers' homes dependent on the program they work at.

Requirements

  • Recent Graduate and Master's degree required for Clinician New Graduate.
  • Masters' Degree in related field required for Clinician I and II.
  • Must Register with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) in California for a registration number within 4 months of hire for Clinician New Graduate.
  • Registered MFT, MSW, APCC, or Psy. D/Ph. D Intern in California for Clinician I.
  • Licensed in California as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psy. D/Ph. D for Clinician II.
  • Must maintain relevant licensure or registration as a condition of employment.
  • Attend and satisfactorily complete all trainings required by the Agency, federal, state and/or local regulations.
  • DMH experience preferred.
  • Valid California Driver License and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to use a personal car with appropriate insurance for Agency business.
  • Fluent in English required.

  • Spanish Language Bilingual Differential ($2,500).
