About The Position

UNM School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is an academic-affiliated medical center that is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist with interest or experience in neurorehabilitation and traumatic brain injury (TBI) to join our growing academic faculty. The successful candidate will provide clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working closely with the TBI Medical Director, and will serve as core teaching faculty in our ACGME-accredited PM&R residency program. Candidates from any PM&R subspecialty background will be considered, with preference given to those with clinical experience or fellowship training in TBI, brain injury medicine, or neurorehabilitation. This position offers the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary care, medical education, clinical research, and program development within a robust academic environment. With a catchment population of over 800,000 and very little competition, the UNM hospital is a 618-bed, Level 1 trauma center servicing a state with a very strong need for PM&R services. Requirements

MD, DO, or equivalent degree
U.S. Board certified or board eligible in PM&R
Eligible for licensure in the state of New Mexico
