The Amber House Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a 10-bed voluntary-only unit designed to assess individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, providing assessment, stabilization, and brief treatment for up to 24 hours. The Amber House Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) unit offers up to 14 beds for individuals in crisis who do not meet medical necessity criteria for hospitalization but would benefit from treatment and supportive programming. The Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for developing and providing high-quality therapeutic interventions and services to support an individual’s wellness and recovery, conducting intake assessments, leading group counseling, and managing the milieu. Bay Area Community Services (BACS) is a CARF accredited non-profit agency with over 70 years of experience serving Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, and Solano Counties, providing mental health and social services. BACS aims to uplift underserved individuals and their families by delivering client-centered and effective clinical practice.
