About The Position

Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician to provide high-quality therapeutic care to children, adolescents, and their families in a residential setting. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, the Clinician will deliver evidence-based treatment, promote emotional well-being, and support each individual’s path toward healing and growth. This role combines direct clinical service, collaboration, and thoughtful care planning to ensure that every child receives the individualized, trauma-informed support they deserve. This position serves at the Medically Complex Behavioral Residence in Groton, Massachusetts, providing individualized, trauma-informed care for youth ages 12–18 with both complex medical and behavioral needs in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required.
  • 1–3 years of experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents, or families preferred.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
  • CANS certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment and respond to crises with professionalism and care.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth and families, using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with clear goals, measurable outcomes, and appropriate discharge criteria.
  • Conduct assessments, coordinate care, and ensure treatment aligns with medical necessity and best-practice standards.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including clinical, medical, and residential staff to support holistic care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the agency’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other required systems.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in 24-hour emergency service coverage rotation, as required by program needs.
  • Promote client-centered, culturally responsive care that emphasizes inclusion, empathy, and respect.
  • Ensure all services meet HIPAA and agency compliance standards while upholding the highest ethical and professional practices.
