The ideal candidate has vendor or delegation management experience at a health plan and will have knowledge of NCQA/CMS requirements. Job Summary Responsible for ensuring that all vendors and suppliers meet regulatory, quality, and performance standards. This role involves evaluating vendor performance, conducting audits, and collaborating with various departments to maintain high standards of quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in vendor management, delegation oversight, and quality within a healthcare setting required
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, NCQA and vendor/delegation standards and management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders from varied backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools; experience with compliance management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential and existing vendors to ensure compliance with hospital policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of vendor contracts, certifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Plan and execute regular compliance audits of vendor operations and performance, including on-site visits as necessary.
  • Identify non-compliance issues and work collaboratively with vendors to develop corrective action plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and issues, facilitating communication between vendors and hospital staff.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, legal, and clinical staff, to ensure that all vendor-related processes align with hospital standards.
