About The Position

The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and provision of care given to patients by self or others who are under their supervision and in accordance with UVA Health’s policies and procedures and scope of practice. The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health. This position requires providing services to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science preferred within 5 years of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Applicable state RN license required.
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required
