Requirements

  • Clinical Trial Contracting Expertise: Proven experience in negotiating and managing country master to site level budgets and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), ideally on a Global focus, across multiple regions, with priority on USA
  • Financial & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze protocols and trial documents to assess financial impact, prepare investigator grants, and manage budget performance metrics
  • Knowledge of Regulatory & Industry Standards: Solid understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and local/global regulatory requirements related to clinical trial contracting
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication: Skilled at working with cross functional internal teams (legal, compliance, clinical operations) and external partners (CROs, sites) to ensure timely execution
  • Project Management & Effective Tracking: Ability to manage and drive timelines, prioritize tasks, and track contract and budget progress across multiple trials and geographies using appropriate tools and systems
  • Adaptability & Speed: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly onboard and deliver result

Responsibilities

  • Support the review and processing of clinical trial country master and site budgets and agreements escalated from the CRO, in alignment with established templates and guidelines
  • Coordinate necessary cross-functional internal reviews (e.g., legal, compliance, study teams) to ensure timely approval of site agreements and budgets (executed by CRO)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of contract and budget status.
  • Participates in initiatives to support improvement of client partnerships.
  • Leads and/or participates in departmental and interdepartmental initiatives and process improvements, as assigned.
  • Completes all required project, client, department, and ICON trainings on time and adheres to the applicable SOPs, processes, and procedures.
