Primary Purpose The Clinical Translation Specialist is responsible for translating and reviewing written clinical and health-related content (primarily English to Spanish, with occasional Spanish to English) in support of clinical research reporting, patient education, and stakeholder communications. This role ensures timely, accurate, and culturally appropriate translations, adhering to established program quality standards and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Within the Biomedical Informatics & Data Science (BI&DS) division, this position resides in the Clinical Data Management & Reporting (CDM&R) department and supports document-based workflows that require high attention to detail, strong writing/editing capability, and consistent quality control. In collaboration with the Health Informatics department, the Clinical Translation Specialist serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for medical translation initiatives, including terminology guidance, translation workflow improvements, and translation-tool best practices.
