Position Summary: The Clinical Training Director collaborates closely with Clinical Leadership, Human Resources, and Compliance to support onboarding, orientation, ongoing professional development, and required regulatory trainings. This position ensures training content is evidence-informed, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and aligned with organizational standards, licensure requirements, and best practices in community mental health.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required.
  • Active clinical license in good standing (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC) preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a community mental health or behavioral health setting.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, delivering, and evaluating clinical training or professional development initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health services, evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with HR and Compliance teams preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between sites as necessary.
  • CPI Required

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee agency-wide clinical training initiatives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain an annual clinical training plan based on workforce needs, compliance requirements, and emerging best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical training standards within community mental health and behavioral health settings.
  • Ensure training content reflects evidence-based practices, ethical standards, cultural responsiveness, and trauma-informed care.
