The Clinical Therapist position will serve as a key member of the facility’s treatment and programming team by delivering evidence-based services to meet the mental health needs of facility residents. The clinical therapist position will ensure that the clinical needs of the resident population are met through clinical assessments, evaluations, diagnoses, therapeutic groups and individual sessions, emergency evaluations and management. The position will conduct clinical consultations, observations, and referrals necessary to meet resident needs. This position will coordinate with facility case managers for discharge planning and connection to community-based services. Management case files and records for residents in treatment for mental and emotional illness is required.
