About The Position

The Licensed Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, or adults depending on program population. This role utilizes evidence-based practices to support individuals with mental health diagnoses and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering counseling services, and coordinating care to ensure clients receive appropriate resources and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required
  • Master’s degree in a human services field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with co-occurring disorders
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in substance use / drug & alcohol treatment settings
  • State licensure or certification required (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
  • Background clearances as required (e.g., ACT 33/34, PATCH)
  • Completion of all required program trainings during onboarding
  • Valid Driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and standard business software
  • Knowledge of healthcare documentation and compliance standards

Responsibilities

  • Partner with individuals to develop recovery goals related to medical, psychiatric, and/or substance use disorders
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Support aftercare planning and follow-up services
  • Maintain an active caseload and ensure consistent client engagement in treatment
  • Track and manage treatment plans and required documentation in accordance with program guidelines
  • Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment progress and discharge planning
  • Identify and coordinate community resources to support individualized client needs
  • Advocate for clients to ensure access to necessary services and supports
  • Identify service gaps and recommend improvements to programming
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Provide supervision to non-licensed staff as required for licensing compliance
  • Deliver crisis intervention and management as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
