About The Position
Preventive Measures, LLC. is an outpatient psychiatric facility with multiple locations within the USA. We provide members of our local communities’ access to necessary mental health treatment. The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, counseling, and supportive services for a diverse population in a fast-paced Mental Health Agency.
Requirements
- Must show the ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate with clients and to remain calm under stress.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Bachelor’s degree (required) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Master’s degree(preferred) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) (required)
- Must be familiar or willing to be trained on EMR systems
- Two years minimum of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses
- 2-Step PPD
- PA State Background Check
- ChildLine Abuse Clearance
- FBI Background Check
- Mandated reporter certificate
Nice To Haves
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and create person-centered treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for clients who present with various concerns such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment disorders
- Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments
- Prepare discharge summaries
- All other clinical tasks as assigned
