About The Position

Waukesha County Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting for a talented professional to join its team as a Clinical Therapist. This position is located in the Clinical Services Division serving clients in the Outpatient Integrated Services Clinic. The Outpatient Clinic is a state-certified treatment facility located on the second floor of the Human Services Center and operates on weekdays from 8:00am to 8:30pm. Licensed clinicians provide individual, group, and family-focused services to residents across the lifespan experiencing emotional disturbances, behavioral difficulties, substance use, mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders. LCSW/LPC and substance use Dual licensure preferred. Selected candidate must be willing to work up to two evenings a week. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a master's degree in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational,) counseling and guidance, social work or closely related area.
  • Candidates must have Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor in Training, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Training, status as a minimum.
  • Two (2) years of post bachelor work experience in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational), counseling and guidance, social work or closely related area.
