The Clinical Therapist at STRIVE will provide direct clinical services, including but not limited to diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral intervention, and crisis intervention to patients. Clinical services are provided in the office and at schools. Clinicians must meet a clinical productivity expectation as set by the supervisor and the department. Completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Participates in staff meetings, training, supervision, and continuing education activities as needed to maintain quality and coordination of care as well as professional licensure and/or certification.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work.
  • Licensed in the State of Arkansas as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • New Grads are welcomed to apply: Must have a provisional license upon application and be able to obtain LMSW, LAC, or LAMFT licensure before the official start date.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and appropriately documents direct clinical services. These include, but are not limited to, diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral intervention, and crisis intervention. This includes mandated reporting in compliance with legal and professional standards and guidelines.
  • Completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with Medicaid, insurance, Joint Commission, program, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Complies with all legal and professional standards and/or guidelines such as mandatory reporting, maintenance of professional licensure in accordance with state licensing boards, and ensuring compliance with best practices through continuing education and clinical supervision.
  • Works with administrative support and utilization management staff as needed to facilitate scheduling, prior and continuing review authorization of services, and transfer/referral of clients to other programs or providers as needed.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled and as-needed departmental and program staff meetings, training, and supervision.
  • Participates in continuing education activities as required to maintain professional licensure and/or certification.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
