About The Position

Unison Health is seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide behavioral health support to youth in crisis at the Lucas County Juvenile Detention Center and Youth Treatment Center. Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Must hold current Ohio licensure : LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC
  • Must demonstrate knowledge in: Trauma-informed care and behavioral health interventions
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Crisis assessment and stabilization
  • Care coordination and discharge planning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with youth and families preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver short-term therapeutic interventions to detained youth
  • Provide crisis stabilization and individualized treatment planning
  • Coordinate outpatient and community-based services for reentry
  • Support youth and families throughout detention and transition
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards (HIPAA)
