About The Position

The Crisis Stabilization Therapist will provide short-term residential treatment to individuals experiencing a mental health or substance abuse disorder crisis on a part-time contingent basis. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and Ohio licensure (LSW/LPC)
• Must have strong assessment skills
• Must be able to work on an as needed basis including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Ohio licensure as an LISW/LPCC is preferred.
• Prior crisis experience with individuals with chronic mental illness, hospital crisis services, or inpatient psychiatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete diagnostic assessments
• Develop/coordinate treatment plans
• Crisis management
• Provide individual and group therapy
• Maintain accurate records
• Provide advocacy and linkage to services when needed
• Communicate with team members, local law enforcement, and hospitals.
