About The Position

We are looking for a Clinical Therapist / Facilitator for the FSP program in Antelope Valley. This position is primarily responsible for providing mental health treatment services to emotionally disturbed children and adolescents in the FSP program. As Facilitator, this position orients families to the Wraparound process and assures that fidelity to the Wraparound model is maintained.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Experience providing direct mental health services to children and adolescents, including work with traumatized youth and families.
  • Ability to respond effectively to high-risk situations and volatile family dynamics while maintaining professionalism.
  • Skilled in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and delivering culturally competent services.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, and computer skills, with the ability to work independently, maintain reliability, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ph.D., Psy.D., MSW, or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Experience working with children/families, field/community work, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to an assigned caseload of high-risk youth and families.
  • Conduct intakes, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning to support ongoing client care.
  • Deliver intensive, community-based mental health services in homes, schools, and other community settings.
  • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, tracking progress and adjusting care as needed.
  • Respond to client crises and symptom management, including participation in 24/7 on-call support for FSP clients as assigned.
  • Lead and facilitate Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings using the Wraparound process and family-centered, strengths-based practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners (schools, DMH, DCFS, DPS, and other agencies) and provide case management and referrals.
  • Maintain timely documentation, productivity standards, and participation in supervision, trainings, and team meetings in accordance with agency, HIPAA, and funder requirements.
