About The Position
The position involves providing or assisting with basic direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The role requires technical skills that have been identified on applicable skills checklists, for which training and competency have been established. The individual will be responsible for reporting abnormal findings or changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the RN, which includes monitoring vital signs, weights, assisting with personal care, and performing various technical skills such as phlebotomy and ECGs. The position also emphasizes maintaining a clean and orderly environment for patients and requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Continuous personal growth and development through education are encouraged, along with the ability to perform basic clinical mathematics and follow instructions accurately.
