Clinical Technician 1 – Medical Unit with Inova Fair Oaks Hospital
Full-time Night Shift: Days vary, 7PM- 7AM | Rotating Weekends & Holidays |
Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
• Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of, Virtual modules (Two from 8AM -4:30PM), Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total), Shifts on unit (8hrs & 12hrs)

• Healthcare experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• ADLs
• Blood Draws
• IV Insertion
• Catheter / Foley insertion
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
