About The Position

Inova Loudoun Hospital - Observation Unit (24 Main) is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. This role will be full time, nights: Monday - Friday, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am with rotating weekends (2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, and 2 Sundays per 6-week period) & holidays (1 major & 1 minor per year). Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association within 3 months.

Nice To Haves

• Training: must be able to attend a 6 week training course.
• Experience: Patient care experience.
• Soft Skills: critical thinking, teamwork, strive in a fast-paced environment, communication, stress management, emotional resilience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Provides basic activities of daily living nursing care (e.g. bathing and feeding) and measurement of vital signs and intake/output.
• Demonstrates competency in all required clinical skills and technologies in accordance with Inova Health System policies and procedures.
• Completes assigned patient duties within the established time frame.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development in providing care for the patient population assigned.
