About The Position

Clinical Technician 1 - Medicine B with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. Full-time | Nights | Shift: Days Vary, 6PM - 6:30AM. Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays. The Medicine B with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician 1 to join the team in a full-time capacity! Your shifts will be from 6PM-6:30AM: with rotating weekends & holidays. Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
• Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of virtual modules and classroom-style sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Performs blood draws.
• Inserts IVs.
• Inserts catheters/Foleys.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
