About The Position

Clinical Technician -PRN- Days & Nights - St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA Position Purpose: The Clinical Tech will work in Ortho and/or Neuro within St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA. Nursing Support PRN Guidelines and Agreement PRN I: Staff will be required to work as needed a minimum of six shifts per six-week schedule. Must include 2 weekend shifts as needed. Must work one major and one minor holiday as needed. PRN II: Staff will be required to work a minimum of twelve shifts per six-week schedule, to include four weekend shifts as needed. Must work a minimum of one major and one minor holiday as needed. What you will do: The Clinical Technician works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the clinical tech include assessing and providing basic patient care needs while maintaining patient care standards. The clinical technician should be self-motivated and able to function as a member of a health care team. What you will need: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Nursing Assistant certification preferred. BLS certification required. Education: Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent. A student in a medical field program may be hired into a clinical technician position. Experience: Hospital or Clinical experience preferred Special Qualifications: Computer skills required. Medical terminology preferred. Requirements

  • BLS certification required.
  • Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent.
  • Computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
  • Hospital or Clinical experience preferred
