About The Position
Clinical Technician - Nights - PRN - Neuro - St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA Position Purpose: The Clinical Tech will work in the Neuro Unit within St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA. Nursing Support PRN Guidelines and Agreement PRN I: Staff will be required to work as needed a minimum of six shifts per six-week schedule. Must include 2 weekend shifts as needed. Must work one major and one minor holiday as needed. PRN II: Staff will be required to work a minimum of twelve shifts per six-week schedule, to include four weekend shifts as needed. Must work a minimum of one major and one minor holiday as needed. What you will do: The Clinical Technician works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the clinical tech include assessing and providing basic patient care needs while maintaining patient care standards. The clinical technician should be self-motivated and able to function as a member of a health care team.
Requirements
- Nursing Assistant certification preferred
- BLS certification required
- Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent
- A student in a medical field program may be hired into a clinical technician position
- Computer skills required
Nice To Haves
- Hospital or Clinical experience preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
