About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Clinical Systems Instructor I provides instructor and performance support. Develops skills to assist with support of curricular development, training, and monitors and improves performance on the job. With mentoring, supports department-based systems trainers and resource staff. Is a member of the Learning and Leadership Development Team within Human Resources. Because of the program-based nature of job assignments, on-call availability requirements apply to periods greater than two weeks. Assignments are typically negotiated and documented at the beginning of the evaluation year and re-evaluated on a continuous basis. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of related training experience highly preferred; preferably in Nursing, Education, Information Technology, or Human Resources.
  • College level coursework in adult learning and instructional design strongly preferred.
  • One year IT, clinical, and/or equivalent training experience preferred.
  • Experience using medical terminology and knowledge of patient care workflows required.

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent classroom and one-on-one training skills preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in word processing and database applications required to support project work.
  • Experience with spreadsheet, presentation, and project management applications strongly preferred.
  • Instructional design skills strongly preferred.
