About The Position

We are seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst, also referred to as a Clinical Technology Analyst or Healthcare System Analyst. The Clinical Systems Analyst role in our hospital, with a focus on Data Processing within Clinical Information Systems (Clinical IS), is responsible for managing, validating, transferring, and maintaining clinical data to ensure accuracy, availability, and usability across systems. The role is primarily operational and data-focused rather than centered on direct clinical care. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required for all new hires starting 4/1/14
  • 2 years work experience in a hospital setting required
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers
  • To move forward in this position, you need some experience in the clinical setting in the hospital. Such as a CNA, LPN, RN or other types of clinical work with some knowledge in information technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience preferred
  • Clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support MEDITECH and enterprise clinical applications, including ongoing user support, training, system maintenance, and dictionary management to ensure optimal system performance
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve clinical system issues, including data errors, application defects, and workflow interruptions, coordinating timely resolutions to minimize operational impact
  • Maintain and enhance clinical system configurations, overseeing system changes, corrections, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with vendors and internal IT teams
  • Monitor clinical data processing and interfaces, ensuring accurate data flow across clinical systems and coordinating reprocessing or corrective actions as needed
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical departments, vendors, and IT teams, providing guidance, issue escalation, and communication related to Clinical System functionality and improvements
