Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
• Active State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Able to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities in caring for patients across the lifespan.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years nursing experience, new RN graduates will be considered.
• Bilingual.
• Experience in an Ambulatory Health Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and collect health data to identify health issues, risks, and areas requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans using an individualized patient approach.
• Conduct an age-appropriate assessment of the patient's health status, considering the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of care.
• Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines ensuring privacy, data security, and a safe work environment.
• Provide health education to individuals, families, and groups.
• Safely administer vaccinations to individuals across the lifespan, ensuring community-wide protection against preventable diseases.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and interventions in the EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to manage chronic diseases, emphasizing prevention and control.
• Engage in outreach activities, raising awareness of health issues and available services.
• Provide empathetic and emotional support to individuals and families dealing with health challenges.
