About The Position

Behavioral Pediatrics of Rural Georgia seeks a team member to coordinate pre and post-visit planning and aftercare for children with autism spectrum disorder, complex ADHD, developmental disabilities, anxiety disorders and behavioral concerns. This person must be able to communicate well with parents having a variety of backgrounds, abilities and communication styles. Should be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment. Our multidisciplinary team is continually growing to meet the needs of southeast Georgia. Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the chronic care management process
  • Join virtual appointments to facilitate after-care.
  • Coordinate patient care.
  • Complete therapy referrals
  • Schedule follow up appointments
  • Communicate with staff, patients, and families.
  • Send, track, and score screenings like Vanderbilt forms.
  • Create and send consultation letters.
  • Ensure diagnosis letters, school excuses, and other forms are sent in a timely manner.
