About The Position

The Clinical Support Representative consistently anticipates and meets the needs of patients, LLUH staff, and the public in general. This role involves following established guidelines to receive and answer patient questions, comments or complaints. The representative obtains patient demographic, insurance and guarantor information required for quick registration, schedules patients' appointments, and enters data into LLUMC electronic systems to ensure complete and accurate accounts. The position also requires using knowledge of PACS or OncoChart to accurately match images or documents from other facilities to LLU patients and relying on previous X-Ray knowledge to answer and/or transfer non-medical questions to the appropriate medical staff. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum two years of Customer Service or related experience
  • Knowledge of Radiology Operations or Radiation Therapy Operations & X-ray types/procedures
  • Able to keyboard 25 wpm
  • Able to read
  • Able to write legibly
  • Able to speak in English with professional quality
  • Able to use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Able to operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Able to collaborate and accept direction
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
