About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Clinical Support CMA or LPN for
the outpatient HIMG Neurology department. This position will maintain a high
quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers
and patients through an office oriented environment  Candidates should
anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients,
employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this
position.

Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively
represent the Hospital at all times.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification or LPN License

Responsibilities

• Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.
• Answering phones & Making appointments
• Greeting & interacting with patients & customers
• Initial patient screenings
• Pulling and filing patient charts
• Taking blood pressure & medical histories
• Assisting doctors
• Calling or faxing prescriptions
• Giving injections or drawing blood
