About The Position

As a Clinical Support Professional, you will assist management in monitoring assigned units to maintain a safe and secure environment. Every day you will apply specialized technical knowledge to supervisory and complex duties, including potential distribution of medical supplies per hospital policy. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate high independence, initiative, and originality, utilizing your expertise with minimal daily supervision to optimize patient care and unit efficiency. Greet customers (vendors, patients, staff, volunteers, and physicians) in person and on the phone, providing information, taking messages, scheduling appointments and or referring to appropriate individual or department. Receive and process complaints and feedback from patients, families, physicians and staff. Collaborates with management for resolution. Research and assist in development of capital and operating budget. Accurately record all personnel activities directly related to the operation and care of the specific unit assigned. Maintains administrative control of a variety of records and files, including confidential and legal documents related to employee physicians, and patients. Review, aggregate, and trend Unit specific data/suggest/develop and resolve problems.

Requirements

  • Experience in a health care setting, upon hire
  • Strongdatabase management experience, upon hire
  • 5-6 years of experience, upon hire
