About The Position

Our Minneapolis 6th floor is a 33-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit that cares for a spectrum of children from infants to young adults suffering from both acute and chronic medical conditions. Our team of dedicated professionals specializes in the care of patients with cystic fibrosis, respiratory conditions, non-critical trauma, neurological conditions (both medical and post-op surgical recovery) and urological conditions (both medical and post-op surgical recovery). Our patients have an average length of stay ranging from days to several weeks for a specialty diagnosis. Patients are cared for by strong inter-disciplinary teams that include child life, social work, integrative medicine, dietitians, case managers and other specialists. We rely on teamwork, with open and respectful communication, and promote an environment that encourages learning and professional growth.
