About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Clinical Support
Assistant under the direction of the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service
or authorized designee, the Transporter will safely and efficiently transport
patients throughout the Medical Center.

Requirements

• Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff.
• Ability to lift patients and operate transport equipment.
• Good body mechanics.
• Have nimble hands and a pleasing voice.
• Should have the ability to remain calm even when working under pressure.
• Maintains BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a nurse aide program preferred.
• Nurse aide experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with the public and or patients and their families helpful.
