About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with at least two (2) years of homecare experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience. We desire an individual who has experience in PEDIATRIC and ADULT home care. Ideal candidate should have a warm heart, passion for educating others, strong clinical skills and homecare experience. The Registered Nurse Supervisor will manage, oversee, coordinate, and develop our client care teams to ensure in-home clients receive high-quality care. He or she will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of clinical services while demonstrating strong leadership, great communication, and patient-centered values. The Registered Nurse Supervisor will practice within the scope of services of the First Day Homecare Orlando agency and all applicable policies, standards, laws, and state Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse
  • At least two (2) years of homecare experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience as a registered nurse . Homecare experience can include home health, home care, and home hospice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile insured in accordance with Agency and state requirements.
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home client visits such as start-of-care assessments, supervisory visits, and reassessment visits.
  • Be available during business hours and on-call as needed to support quality care delivery.
  • Receive referrals, assess service needs, and assign appropriate clinicians to cases.
  • Meet regularly with clinical staff to provide guidance, set goals, and evaluate progress.
  • Attend clinical meetings to facilitate care coordination and participate in on-call rotation.
  • Support staff, clients, and families by providing direction on healthcare resources and educating them on clinical policies.
  • Oversee accuracy and timeliness of clinical documentation and perform quarterly chart reviews.
  • Assist with staff hiring, orientation, training, and conducting annual performance evaluations.
  • Strategic alignment in the efforts for client acquisition.
