About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Clinical Supervisor to lead daily clinical operations in our Jeffersonville office (302 W14th St). This role is perfect for someone with strong ophthalmic experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is committed to exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 3+ years of ophthalmic practice experience
  • Experience in clinical supervision or clinical management
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic standards and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with EHR systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to operate ophthalmic equipment and perform fine motor tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. and perform routine physical movements (bending, reaching, etc.)

  • JCAHPO certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop Clinical Staff
  • Supervise technicians, scribes, diagnostic staff, and support personnel
  • Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members
  • Conduct competency assessments and ensure accurate documentation
  • Manage staffing schedules and oversee equipment maintenance
  • Support Physicians & Clinic Flow
  • Manage physician schedules and clinic templates
  • Serve as the communication link between staff and providers
  • Support onboarding of new physicians and subspecialists
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Oversee infection control, sterilization, and medical waste processes
  • Monitor drug inventory and coordinate with the surgery center
  • Conduct chart reviews, safety rounds, and incident investigations
  • Ensure compliance with ophthalmology regulations and internal standards
  • Program & Patient Support
  • Implement new clinical workflows, technologies, and services
  • Oversee patient education and informed consent processes
  • Partner with marketing on community outreach and internal initiatives
  • Administrative Leadership
  • Participate in management meetings
  • Mediate staff conflicts and support performance evaluations
  • Review emergency response outcomes and recommend improvements
