Shift Details: Full-time – 40 hours/week Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal business hours with the required flexibility to meet the needs of a 24-hour program, on-call rotation & occasional evenings Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 annual salary - depending on licensure and experience Location: Avanti - 10300 Flanders St NE, Blaine, MN 55449 About the job: Provide clinical leadership and oversight of treatment services, ensuring whole-person, trauma-informed, compassionate, accountable, and excellence-driven care across all clinical operations.

Requirements

  • Must be a fully licensed Mental Health Professional for clinical practice in the state of Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT)
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-clinical licensure

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of clinical leadership or supervision, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership & Staff Development Recruit, supervise, coach, and develop clinical staff to promote excellence, compassion, accountability, and integrity in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Provide reflective supervision, modeling trauma-informed leadership, emotional regulation, cultural responsiveness, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and professional work culture where staff feel valued, equipped, and supported.
  • Offer training, mentoring, and performance feedback to strengthen clinical skill development and ensure quality care.
  • Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance Provide oversight of all clinical services using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and whole-person treatment practices.
  • Approve referrals and ensure appropriate clinical fit for program admissions.
  • Review, approve, and audit clinical documentation to ensure compliance with policy, licensing standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Program Collaboration & Division Leadership Participate in division clinical leadership meetings to support strategic planning, consistency, and best-practice implementation.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure youth treatment needs are met comprehensively and collaboratively.
  • Crisis Response & Emergency Coordination Assist with coordination of emergency placements, hospitalizations, or acute clinical needs.
  • Provide clinical consultation to direct care teams during safety concerns or crises.
  • Participate in the Mental Health Professional on-call rotation to support crisis clinical needs.
  • Direct Clinical Support Carry a small clinical caseload as needed to support program functioning.
  • Provide high-quality therapeutic services aligned with trauma-informed and whole-person standards.
  • Provide service coverage for program therapists where needed to ensure continuity of care.
  • Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Collaborate with program leadership to manage clinical budget and resource allocation.
  • Participate in development and implementation of policies, procedures, and program enhancements.
  • Support compliance with HIPAA and uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.
