About The Position

This position is responsible for managing all the ECI services. This position will be expected to be thoroughly familiar with the HHSC contract, ECI compliance guide and any policy updates. This position requires coordination of daily operations of the specific office, supervision of staff, response to client’s complaints, responsibility for the quality of service, and good working relationships with community partners. This position will need to maintain skills in providing intervention services, service coordination, screening, assessment, and evaluation. The clinical supervisor will ensure multi-disciplinary staff are trained and can successfully complete their duties. This position is responsible for working collaboratively on the management team. Supervisor will take a lead role in the development and implementation of any changes within the program for their team. Additionally: Works actively as a part of the ECI Management Team to ensure the division’s success and the achievement of the Center’s overall goals. Responsible for ECI services including overall performance as well as compliance with policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. Provides leadership and training to ECI staff to ensure the timely provision of high-quality services using the family coaching model. Operates programs on sound financial basis. Operates program according to HHSC contract, TAC and ECI compliance guide. Willingness to perform tasks of early intervention services as needed. Evaluate staff and provide technical assistance to maintain quality ECI services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or Master’s degree in field closely related to the provision of early intervention services
  • Must be a Qualified Early Intervention Specialist or must have licensure/certification in a related field such as social work, speech therapy or education
  • Demonstrated initiative in direct service, collaborating with teammates, and documentation or three years of supervisory experience
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
