The primary role of the Clinical Supervisor is to assist in managing the practice operations, and business functions including, but not limited to, scheduling, registration, billing, collection, patient and team member satisfaction, and purchasing. Supervises clinical team members and serves as liaison between the team members and Practice Manager.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in health or business administration, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical office required.
  • CPR Certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • NJ License Practical Nurse required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service. Promote high levels of service, all team members greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
  • Works with Practice Manager to develop and implement goals and objectives.
  • Oversees clinical operations and ensures functions are being completed accurately and timely.
  • Acts as a resource in all areas of clinical operations.
  • Assists in developing and enforcing team member work assignments and maintaining master work schedule.
  • Processes payroll in the absence of the Practice Manager.
  • Assists with maintaining accurate personnel records for each team member, and documenting information accurately, completely, and timely.
  • Assists in the evaluation of team member performance, gives guidance, and participates in disciplinary actions.
  • Elicits feedback from team members to promote team building.
  • Manages and/or assists in the recruitment, development and supervision of team members.
  • Promotes a work environment conducive to high levels of team member satisfaction by being responsive to team member concerns or ideas.
  • Provides coaching and support, addresses issues in a timely manner, and communicates both informally and formally through scheduled monthly team meetings.
  • Conducts daily huddles.
  • Addresses facility issues through coordination of property work orders and repairs as needed.
  • Follows appropriate protocol for engaging vendor's services.
  • Performs patient care duties in a safe and efficient manner when needed.
  • Reports timely and accurate changes in the patient's condition.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
  • Lifts a minimum of 5 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 5 lbs. and stands a minimum of 1 hour a day.
