About The Position

The incumbent of this position is responsible for ensuring quality services are delivered to clients/patients through providing clinical oversight to clients/patients and team members in a program by planning, organizing, staffing, and directing client/patient care on a daily operational basis. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field, with at least three (3) years professional experience in substance use disorder treatment and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • OR Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field, with at least four (4) years professional experience in substance use disorder treatment and two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • AND Qualified Addiction Professional certified by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. or applicable State Board
  • OR Counselor, psychologist, or physician licensed in Missouri with at least one (1) year professional experience in substance use disorder treatment and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Successful completion of background check
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
  • First Aid certification and CPR certification
  • Behavioral Management training
  • Annual maintenance of licenses/certifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other agencies in the communities served
  • Participate in selection of off-site resources for needed services that are not provided by the program
  • Complete monthly/quarterly record reviews for the program, ensuring regulatory and accreditation standards are maintained
  • Facilitate weekly clinical case staffing, team, and diagnostic disposition meetings
  • Act upon reports and recommendations from program/agency committees, team members, and client suggestions
  • Provide oversight for service delivery, completing weekly checks on team member direct service hours
  • Develop evolving programmatic schedule to meet client population needs
  • Coordinate services and collaborate with outside agencies
  • Adhere to and monitor program budget
  • Provide clinical direction and supervision to assigned team members
  • Ensure orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for staff members
  • Respond/intervene in crisis situations and ensure incident reporting is completed
