About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program Required
• 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting Required
• Previous supervisory experience desired Required
• Participation in continuing education and maintenance of current knowledge for the care of patients in assigned unit(s) Required
• 5 or more years of experience in various perioperative areas (addendum for Surgical Services only) Required
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse Required
• Valid BLS certification Required
• ACLS certification may be given unit specialty (if , see addendum) Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (if , see addendum) Required
• NRP certification (Women's Services) Required
• ACLS and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (L&D only) Required
• OR/PAT/PREOp/PACU – CNOR, CPAN, CAPA certification. If not certified, must obtain certification within 12 months of hire date Required
• SPD – CSPDT or CSPM certification. If not certified, must obtain certification within 12 months of hire date Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree Preferred
• CCRN (Critical Care) Preferred
